This morning at 09:00 I got a ticket to El Flores, which is on the boarder to Hondurras.
They promised that it is a "directo" which means that I do not have to change bus. And in fact the bus had the writing "El Florido". Everything went fine until Chiquimula. There the passengers to El Florido where told to go on an other bus. At least we didn't have to wait much. We went on a smaller bus what made sense since there where not so many passengers. Soon later we had to change to an other bus which was a so called collectivo. A bus which waits until all seats are taken. You have totake into account that also the spare seats between the rows where taken into account. It went fine for a while, until the bus had a flat tire and the driver and his assistend where not able to change the tire. Everyone went of the bus again and we where waiting for a bus again.
It was alredy 15:40 when we arrived at the boarder. After the formalities at the immigration on the Guatemala side, we had to walk across the boaarder until Hondurras. There the same procedure again. On the walk the money changrs approached us. I just changed the minimum to be able to pay the collectivo to Copán.
At the end I arrived in Copán at around 16:30.
