Back to Guatemala

After crossing Belize we are back again.
This is the entry to Guatemala.

We just arrived in Flores, an island in lake Péten Itzá.
It looks quite save.

After visiting the archaeological site I went for a swim.

We were the first visitors today, so no tourists were spoiling the view.

Unfortunately there is no WIFI in the jungle, so just one picture today.

San Cristobal de las Casas

We arrived in the pleasant city of San Cristobal, with lots of nice hotels and Restaurants. There is even a big choice of vegetarian Restaurants. As the Lonely Planet guide mentions, vegetarians get spoiled here.
Again,... pictures tell more than thousand words.

Comitan

We arrived at Comitan, the first bigger town after crossing the boarder. We were a bit tired from traveling with the chicken buses and all the hassle on the boarder. After having used 4 different transport means we decided to stay overnight in Comitan and continue tomorrow to San Cristobal de las Casas.
